Who Benefits From CutShots?

CutShots - Not Just For Beginners

Who can use CutShots? The CutShots Aim Trainer can be utilized by beginning pool players, parents, established pool players, and organizations such as pool leagues.  Read more below.

Experienced Players

Our revolutionary cut shot learning aid will help experienced players become better. Do you ever miss a simple cut shot? Sure you do.  Missing the difficult cut shots in a game isn’t what causes you to lose, it’s missing the “simple” cut shots you should make every time. There are several reasons for the miss.  Most often, the cuprit is not being absolutely sure of where to strike the object ball with what point on the cue ball. This is the flaw in your play that the CutShots Aim Trainer will correct. Once you become accustomed to the 3-Step CutShots Process in every cut shot you make, you will begin to “see” your shot precisely, and pocket it more often.

We are not trying to take your preferred method of play away from you. We want to make it better.

We recommend that you send your present aiming system away on a short vacation, along with your regular balls, english and position play. Spend a good amount of time using only CutShots balls and the accompanying instructions. This exercise will sharpen your visual concentration on finer aiming points, resulting in greater visual precision when you return to your own game.

CUTSHOTS CUE BALL’S ADDITIONAL FEATURE FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS

We “discovered” that the CutShots Cue Ball, used alone, is an excellent practice cue ball for advancing players. The several changing spins imparted to the cue ball by the stroke and the rails can be clearly seen by the various motions of the ball’s 112 Spots: first sliding and rotating, then caroming off the intended object ball, and then off any rails used for getting position.

For trick shot artists, the CutShots Cue Ball will substantially add to the “wow factor” of a seriously juiced shot. And the yellow CutShots balls are great for multi-ball trick shots.

And that’s all the CutShots propaganda you need to read in this section written specifically for you, the experienced player. If you haven’t watched the video on how our cut shot learning aid works, do so now.

Parents & Children

The CutShots Aim Trainer is the perfect pool playing starter kit for a home table, or for a first trip to a family-friendly pool room. Using CutShots from the very beginning will prevent hours of “banging balls around” and losing interest in your new home pool table and the sport of billiards.

Kids readily understand the simple concept of making two identifiable points collide –  the white cue ball’s Spot #2 hitting the yellow object ball’s Spot #1. They can easily learn the CutShots 3-Step shooting routine of finding two spots and making a cue shift. See the Learn page for details.  Their progress will be apparent to them in just a few sessions, when they start making longer runs of pocketed shots. They will immediately sense progress and gain confidence.

Our suggested approach to get a younger player started with our cut shot learning aid:

  • Give her/him a 4-Ball Set (Cue ball and 3 Object balls).
  • Patiently go through the instructions with her/him at the table or have them watch the video on this website.
  • Encourage them to take shorter shots at first, and work their way up to longer shots.
  • Once you sense that she/he understands, leave the room and let them take it from there.

Parents can do the same. It just takes a little longer. But you do it right along with your child, interacting in a tension-free game of mutual interest: who will make the longest run today? For this phase we suggest additionally buying the CutShots 4-Object Ball Set (all yellow), so you have seven yellow balls on the table. Now practice with seven object balls.

When a player’s skill and confidence progress to a point of reasonable competence with CutShots balls, it becomes time to transition to regulation pool balls. We recommend four phases for doing this:

  1. Switch first to a regulation all-white cue ball, but continuing using the CutShots yellow object balls.
  2. Change out the object balls, (2) first using just a regulation 1-ball alone
  3. Add the remaining six solid-color balls
  4. Start using the full set of solids and stripes.

During this transition period the same 3-Step routine should be used on every shot; and it should continue throughout the player’s career. 1…2…3, 1…2…3, 1…2…3, etc.

If competence and confidence ever backslide because of the greater challenge of regulation balls, return to CutShots and reestablish your child’s performance and enjoyment of the sport.

SALES AND MARKETING SUGGESTIONS FOR BRICK AND MORTAR RETAILERS

Include CutShots sets in your Pool Table Accessories Packages.

Home table buyers usually have beginning players in their families, and this is one of CutShots’ main target audiences. You don’t want frustrated home table owners having buyer’s remorse by not pocketing balls. CutShots will provide faster progress and quicker satisfaction, especially for the kids in the family and their friends. And happy kids produce satisfied parents.

We recommend the CutShots 2-Ball Set for inclusion in your Accessories Packages. The customer can buy more balls from you later to expand their set.

Pool Room Operators

SUGGESTIONS FOR POOL ROOM OPERATORS

Your goal is to have your tables full of players generating revenue for your business. Our goal is to sell CutShots Aim Trainer balls to generate revenue for our business and help players succeed in the game of pool while having more fun. Lets work together for a win-win outcome.

With CutShots balls available for use at your tables, new players will pocket more balls, see that they like the game, and enjoy practicing more to improve. Rather than give up and walk away frustrated, they will become your steady customers, join a league, and bring in others.

The CutShots ball sets you buy, if promoted well  see explanation below, — will become revenue generators for you, and will pay for themselves times over. Players will buy solo table time specifically to practice with them.

When CutShots Balls are out on the floor being used, others will see them, catch on, and become your CutShots users themselves.

ALSO, a new player using CutShots can play a game of 8-ball against a more experienced player who uses solids from a regulation set. This feature should also increase your table revenue if you promote this use of your CutShots sets.

For this reason, we recommend that you purchase our CutShots Full Sets (8-balls), in a quantity consistent with the size of your operation. This is about one set for every 5-6 tables. We can discuss this with you by phone when you give us a call.

HOW TO PROMOTE THE CUTSHOTS AIM TRAINER

(a) Place a pair of CutShots Balls next to your cash register, on small display holders we provide. Customers will readily ask you, “What are these?”

(b) Tell them about the CutShots Aim Trainer balls and system.

(c) Take our CutShots Demonstration Board out from behind your counter and perform a simple demo routine, about 30 seconds once practiced, that explains the entire CutShots method in an easy-to-understand fashion.  Or you can simply show them the video on this website.

(d) This will likely lead to a request for a “house set” of CutShots to try out. You have just set the hook!

With your first order, we will include a Demonstration Kit, on request, for use in your establishment. Contact us for a demonstation kit.

SELL THE CUTSHOTS AIM TRAINER TO YOUR LEAGUE PLAYERS
